ANNOUNCEMENT: It is our pleasure to announce that part of the DREGON dataset is used for the 2019 international Signal Processing Cup of IEEE. You can find detailed information about the challenge, register and download data at this address: https://piazza.com/ieee_sps/other/spcup2019/home. In the meantime, the original DREGON data have temporarily been made unavailable for download for fairness. We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to count you as a participant of the challenge!

Welcome to the DREGON dataset webpage! DREGON, for DRone EGonoise and localizatiON, is a publically available dataset of annotated sounds recorded with an 8-channel microphone array embedded into a quadrotor UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). It aims at promoting research in UAV-embedded sound source localization, notably for the application of semi-autonomous search-and-rescue with drones. The data are free to use for academic and educational purpose.
